About "1 More Chance!" (HanaChie is mine!)
Brief Description: Some people make romance look so easy, but it's never
been that way for Chie. And Yousuke isn't making it any easier.

Started in February 2009, after a second playthrough of Persona 4.
This Persona 4-based story, which takes place in 2017, approximately 5 years post-True Ending of the
Japanese version of the game (important only for some names, and for one minor plot point involving
someone's Shadow), is a relationship/romance/friendship story centering on Satonaka Chie. While
strongly centered around the romance between Chie and Hanamura Yousuke, I have tried
to give each of the principal Investigation Team characters his or her due. Still, if you hate
the HanaChie pairing, you probably won't like this story.
Begun as a simple 'shipping fic, the story has grown beyond my initial expectations to include
lost loves, Japanese folklore, gender bending, non-traditional sexual relationships, fighting,
Shadows, familial responsibilities, traditional expectations, feminist empowerment, and a slew
of other topics. So, it's not just about a young woman trying to find her soulmate.
The story is divided into four Arcs or Parts, but is meant to be read as a whole, which is why all
of the Parts are included (or will be, once they're finished). They are:
I: Signs of Love (Chapters 1-9)
II: Heartbeat, Heartbreak (Chapters 10-23)
III: Strength of Heart (Chapters 24-37)
IV: I'll Face Myself (Chapters 38-65?)
. . . So at least you've got some idea of where the heck the story is going, and how
far yet we have to go! And, yes, the Parts are named after tracks from the Persona 4 soundtrack.
This is a Mature-rated story. It involves adults engaging in
consensual sexual activity, described in sometimes graphic detail. So, if you are not of age
in your resident country, you may want to pass on this story.

Please note: As a work in progress, I'm currently making some edits to chapters, as they are posted at my deviantArt gallery. Chapters with centered identification have undergone the (hopefully) final edit, while those chapters with left-justified identification are still awaiting that last perusal.
I am not changing any major story points with these edits. I'm just clearing up some style issues, so that the earlier chapters more closely resemble the latter ones. If you've already read everything and don't want to go back at this point, you're not missing anything major. But if you do go back and read, hopefully you'll find some additional little gems.
